Always tuck your card snugly into your wallets and other customized credit card holders.

Whenever you go out, make sure to bring either of these holders and place it inside your bag or secure it fittingly into your pocket. If your pocket has zipper or button, use it accordingly. At all cost avoid putting your credit card in your pocket as is. This will prevent slip ups or pickpockets.

Try to bring one credit card at a time only.

Bring your best credit card when going out. This way, in case you misplace your wallet, it slips or it gets stolen, not all of your cards are in peril. Not only that, being able to control your spending urge is also an additional advantage of limiting your credit card baggage.

Make sure to return your card properly after every use.

It is easy to forget at times the safety involved whenever you’re at the checkout counter. It is inevitable that you get excited with your new purchase that upon swiping, you mindlessly stick your card back in any nook in your bag, wallet or worse, pocket.

Being mindless of this simple task can cause you your credit card because it is likely to fall or slip due to your effortless and mindless deed.

Do not just place your cards anywhere.

Have a proper container, space or holder for it in your home or at work. Never leave any of it lying on your desk, atop any furniture, and never leave it at the office. Doing any of these could result for your cards to be misplaced, lost or stolen.

Be sure to place them as well somewhere secured, away from any rambunctious activities, and somewhere concealed from guests, household members and especially intruders.
